The FR Sports PRO Aerial Silk is designed for ambitious training, teaching and performance. The polyester fabric combines low longitudinal stretch with good flexibility across its width and is available in five lengths and six colours.

Which length should I choose?

The manufacturer's formula is twice the room height plus a total of at least 1 m and no more than 4 m of additional fabric. Also allow for the length of the silk mount and other rigging components.

Testing and documentation
Every production batch is tested in accordance with PN-EN ISO 13934-1:2013-07. FR Sports also tests the silk while rigged for use. The manufacturer's English-language manual is available under the “Documents” tab.

Safety, inspection and care
Important: Aerial acrobatics involve significant risks. The rigging and anchor point must be designed, assessed and installed for human loads by a competent person. Read the manufacturer's instructions in full before first use.
- Before every use, inspect the silk and all rigging components for holes, tears, snags, abrasion and other damage
- Immediately remove damaged fabric from service; do not sew or repair it
- Remove jewellery and avoid zips, hook-and-loop fasteners and other sharp items during training
- Use only suitable, smooth and appropriately rated silk rigging equipment
- Train with a suitable crash mat and under competent instruction
- Store dry at room temperature and protect from sunlight, precipitation, heat and rough surfaces
- Remove all hardware before washing at 40 °C on a low spin cycle without fabric softener; dry away from heat sources
The selected options determine the length and colour supplied. Rigging hardware, connectors and crash mat are not included unless ordered separately.
